Development of websites
The project developed websites to support teacher associations and to cover project activities:
1. Project website www.civiced.org.ua, with news about key outputs of project activities.
2. Website for extra-curricular activities www.citizen.org.ua was developed by 'Nova Doba' Association with project support.
3. Teacher’s online forum www.teachers.in.ua.
4. Website for the Ukrainian School Heads Association www.usha.org.ua.
5. Website for the All-Ukrainian Association of Teachers of History and Social Sciences www.novadoba.org.ua.
6. Website for the non-commercial organisation 'Teachers for Democracy and Partnership' www.teachers.org.ua.
7. All Ukrainian Association of Teachers of Social Sciences and Civic Education www.gromadosvita.org.ua.
All websites have English and Ukrainian versions to disseminate information both in Ukraine and abroad. They will be a platform for continued publicity of civic education after the end of the project.
Development of press releases for project activities
Press releases prepared almost for most project activities and published on the EU website at www.delukr.ec.europa.eu/calendar_uk.html and in the ENPI e-bulletin at http://www.ediweb.be/europeaid/archive/newsletter
Articles in educational newsletters and magazines
Project activities were covered in different mass media, mainly in the paper 'Osvita Ukrainy', 'Shkilnyi Svit' publications and in the magazine of 'Nova Doba' Association. Specifically, an article about pilot school visits and the conference in Kherson oblast in the daily 'Vid A do Ya' should be pointed out. An article about project work and CE practice of a Volyn school was published in the UK magazine 'Teaching Citizenship'
Publicity items
The following publicity items were produced: project leaflets, posters, project sticker, bookmarks with quotations about civic education, pens with project logo, lapel badges and project banners.
Implemented by a consortium led by Cambridge Education Ltd (a member of the Mott MacDonald Group), including Step by Step Foundation, Ukraine, Deutsch Russisch Austausch, Germany and the Center for Citizenship Education, Poland.
